When products make decisions on a user's behalf, trust becomes the most important feature. Users need to understand what the system is doing and feel in control.
We design for transparency: clear explanations of why an AI suggested something, easy ways to override it, and obvious feedback channels. Small touches โ a "why am I seeing this?" link โ build enormous confidence.
Equally important is graceful uncertainty. When a model is unsure, say so. Honest interfaces outperform confident-but-wrong ones every time.
Trust is earned in micro-interactions. Get those right and adoption follows.
